As usual Apple comes out with a update for iPhone at the end of June. It’s only been 2 years really, but we have grown to expect a lot from Apple.

iPhone 3G S was introduced at WWDC June 2009.  The new iPhone does have lots of fun update including accessibility for deaf and blind users. even though the updates are ice there are some key functions missing.

Two functions that iPhone users have been clamoring for are FM Transmitter to easily play music. Two would be tethering. The ability to tether your phone to a laptop, or notebook.

The lack of a FM Transmitter is kind of bewildering. We can’t see any reason not to have it. Maybe Apple has a agreement with the after market manufacturers.

The reason for not having teathering could be two fold. Maybe Apple just  a bunch of jerks. No! (joke)  but one is that when a cell phone is teathered to a laptop it use’s tons  of bandwidth. I have been teathering celphones to my laptop for years. Their is a trick so you don’t get a huge bill from AT&T. You simply sighn up for the unlimited internet and texting for $20.00 a month. Then use motorola Phone tools to connect. I use a Razr. I can see AT&T not wanting users to buy a unlocked iPhone and not the 3G Network Plan.

It’s all the goodies from the Crave blog. Natali Del Conte joins Brian Tong to talk about what they still Crave with the iPhone 3G, Sony’s Rolly dancing MP3 player, a BMW concept car made of fabric, and a robot you can make out with!

A look back at iPhone one year ago. Apple launches new products every June and July. It seems like it was only yesterday that we where excited about the 3G iPhone.
Cramer of Mad Money has said that Apple is a good tech stock buy. As apps and iPhones become more sophisticated there is plenty of room for growth.
It’s true Apple iPhone isn’t the only game in town, but it sure looks like it’s the best.

If your a skier and needed a reason to buy a iPhone here’s your excuse. A Colorado company based in Denver has developed “Snocator”. A iPhone application that will guide you around 60 Ski Areas via GPS data signals, Wi-Fi or users can download Trail Maps to their iPhone. Most resorts don’t have the best signals so downloading Trail Maps is a must.

When skiing and Snowboarding in unfamilar places this app will get lots of use. Lots of us who started skiing when we where young have become accustom to our local ski resort and have no problems find our way around. Not so when a East Coast New England Skier heads west to ski Colorado.

Colorado Ski couldn’t be any more different. Colorado Skiers don’t go to a Ski Resort, park the car and head to the day lodge to Boot Up. Colorado skiing entails starting your day with your Ski Equipment on. Their are no day lodges. So you more than likely start your day in one place and end in another if you don’t have knowledge of the resort. Take the Vail Trail Map. Its huge. The Snocator App can direct you to were you want to be. Even back to a meeting spot for the family or a after ski Apre Ski spot for a cup of hot chocolate.
