What iPhone 3G S Doesn’t Come With, FM Radio Transmitter, Tethering
Posted on 2009 under iPhone Stuff | No Comment
As usual Apple comes out with a update for iPhone at the end of June. It's only been 2 years really, but we have grown to expect a lot from Apple.
iPhone 3G S was introduced at WWDC June 2009. The new iPhone does have lots of fun update including accessibility for deaf and blind users. even though the updates are ice there are some key functions missing.
Two functions that iPhone users have been clamoring for are FM Transmitter to easily play music. Two would be tethering. The ability to tether your phone to a laptop, or notebook.
The lack of a FM Transmitter is kind of bewildering. We can't see any reason not to have it. Maybe Apple has a agreement with the after market manufacturers.
The reason for not having teathering could be two fold. Maybe Apple just a bunch of jerks. No! (joke) but one is that when a cell phone is teathered to a laptop it use's tons of bandwidth. I have been teathering celphones to my laptop for years. Their is a trick so you don't get a huge bill from AT&T. You simply sighn up for the unlimited internet and texting for $20.00 a month. Then use motorola Phone tools to connect. I use a Razr. I can see AT&T not wanting users to buy a unlocked iPhone and not the 3G Network Plan.
